Crab Hut was founded in 2007 by a group of people who loves food and beer, with one purpose to bring San Diego some good ole’ Southern sass and flavor (BAM!).
In 2010 Crab Hut made its way to the Famous Gaslamp Quarter. Our goal is to bring Southern flavors to locally grown products. From fresh corn and limes grown in Chula Vista to farm raised oysters from Carlsbad we keep it local when we can. One big exception is of course our crawfish (you gotta get Louisiana Crawfish!). Being choosey eaters ourselves we choose only the top quality of Russian red king crab and the sweetest Alaskan snow crab. Go ahead and pair them with our favorite selections of San Diego’s most popular micro-brews on tap; did you know that San Diego has over 25 registered microbreweries as of 2010 according to www.sandiegobrewersguild.org. So bring your family, friends, friend’s friend, neighbor, co-worker, friend’s friend’s friend and join our food and beer loving family for some good ole’ dirty fun.
